Sauna, Pool Table and Table tennis in the Barn - a 6 seater Sauna bath (coin operated) ; pool table (coin operated) and table tennis table have been installed for those wetter days! All this is in a very rustic setting, as the barn is also used for baby animals, sick animals, farm tools etc - so don't say we haven't warned you.

Dog Kennel in the Barn - We also have a small dog kennel in the barn with a small fenced in run for those of you who prefer to keep their dogs in a kennel rather than in the house or cottage.

Croquet and Boules on the Lawn - guests staying in the main house are welcome to relax on the patio in the walled garden and play croquet or boules on the lawn.

BBQs - All cottages have their own BBQ Rose Cottage and The Cottage have gas BBQ and The Forge and Camellia Cottage have a conventional charcoal BBQ each. We also have a gas BBQ for house guests We also provide patio furniture for our cottages and have a few sturdy picnic tables.

Utility Room - A communal building where there are washing, ironing and drying facilities available (with a small donation requested for the tumble dryers) and a welly shower too for the hardy hiker or ardent camper. We also have additional freezer space available, as well as a pay phone.

Special Diets and Evening Meals - We can cater for special diets and evening meals, which we can serve you during the winter months, when most other local establishments are closed for the winter - provided you order your meal well in advance, so we can get in the freshest produce.

Free Range Eggs - Don't forget to order your free-range eggs from us when you leave.

Walks - We are surrounded by stunning walks, one listed in the book goes straight through our grounds. So dog owners, you will love it here. No real need to jump into the car to go for that walk, just pop up the drive and turn left and head towards the beach or down past the fields toward Rhyd-y-clafdy, past a newly rebuilt mill house. Careful of the sheep and bulls in the fields!

Gardens and Grounds
In all our grounds extend to approximately 60 acres (2 acres of gardens and 4 acres of fields plus 54 acres of woodlands) and are surrounded by open fields, giving stunning views over the diverse countryside. See our Gardens page for more information in flowers, birds you may see.
